Role Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst partners with Data Science, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders to support fraud analytics initiatives. The role focuses on requirements gathering, data analysis, data quality, data mapping, and documentation to enable the development and deployment of fraud detection and AML models.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with Data Science teams to support the development and enhancement of fraud detection and AML analytics models.
- Analyze and interpret data schemas, table structures, and business attributes across multiple source systems to support data integration, mapping, and analytics initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders, Data Science, Data Engineering, and project teams.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), requirements packages, process documentation, and decision logs.
- Document and analyze end-to-end data flows,



including source systems, business attributes, data mappings, transformations, and system dependencies.
- Support data model development by performing attribute analysis, data profiling, and attribute tagging across multiple source systems.
- Perform Data Quality assessments and define critical data elements (CDEs), validation rules, and monitoring requirements to improve data reliability.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled tools to improve documentation, requirements analysis, and data mapping processes.
- Translate business requirements into explicit technical specifications and recommendations for Data Science and Technology teams.
- Collaborate with technology teams to support data integration, database design, and solution implementation activities.
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, capture meeting notes, track decisions and action items, and support project delivery.
