Business Systems Analyst – PIM / MDM / Data Migration

Job Overview

We are seeking a strong Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with hands-on experience in Data, Product Information Management (PIM), Product Content Management (PCM), and Master Data Management (MDM) projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong product-domain knowledge and experience working on data migration initiatives, business requirements, data mapping, process analysis, and collaboration between business and technical teams.

Experience with Syndigo is preferred. However, candidates with strong experience in comparable PIM/MDM platforms such as Salsify, Akeneo, Stibo, or Informatica Product 360 will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for PIM, MDM, product data, and content management initiatives.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, data teams, and technical teams to define requirements and solutions.
- Lead or support data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.
- Analyze product information and master data processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create business process flows, functional specifications, data mapping documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into effective PIM/MDM solutions.
- Support data quality, governance,



standardization, and enrichment initiatives.
- Participate in system integration, UAT, defect resolution, and production implementation activities.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and business-process issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support implementation and enhancement of PIM/MDM platforms.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst in Data, PIM, PCM, or MDM environments.
- Mandatory: Proven experience with Data Migration projects.
- Strong understanding of Product Information Management and Product Content Management.
- Strong product-domain and master-data knowledge.
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms:
- Syndigo – preferred
- Salsify
- Akeneo PIM
- Stibo
- Informatica PIM / Product 360
- Solid experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, data mapping, and documentation.
- Experience working with large and complex product datasets.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and data transformation concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively between business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PIM/MDM implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
- Experience integrating PIM/MDM platforms with ERP, CRM, eCommerce, or other enterprise applications.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
