Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic construction and woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing custom cabinets and woodwork that meet precise specifications. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with high-quality craftsmanship, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and functional excellence.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct cabinets and wood fixtures.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
- Install finished cabinetry securely on-site, ensuring proper alignment and fit within designated spaces.
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as sanding, finishing, painting, or staining to achieve a polished appearance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process and upon completion to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Assist with related construction tasks including drywall installation, flooring setup, tile laying, rebar installation, or roofing as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cabinetry making, woodworking, or carpentry within a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers), power tools (drills, sanders), CNC machinery,
and other woodworking equipment.
- Knowledge of construction processes such as concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, siding work, plumbing basics, electrical experience, and roofing is a plus.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and material takeoffs for project planning.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship quality.
- Valid experience in drywall finishing, restoration work or handyman services is advantageous.

Requirements
Education:
- Other trades certificate or diploma in carpentry/carpenter or cabinetmaking and millwork; or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
Languages:
- English or French
