Job Overview

Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum glass and glazing industry.

- Create, develop, and revise shop drawings using the AutoCAD software based on customer requirements.
- Create material fabrication drawings using the AutoCAD software.
- Read and interpret architectural, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Maintain CAD files, drawings, revision records in an organized manner.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and senior draft technician to ensure high-quality standards.
- Follow industry standards and company quality procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work with deadlines and fast-paced environment.
- Able to interpret and navigate architectural drawings.
- Able to visualize 2D and 3D concepts.




- Good understanding of the construction process.
- Excellent communication skills and organization skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with project manager and individually.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain file systems and documentation.
- Strong willingness to learn.

Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in CAD, drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD software.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
