Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Follow detailed schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise work aligned with manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly during repair or restoration projects
- Lift heavy components safely using proper techniques to prevent injury while maintaining efficiency
- Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs,



and communicate findings clearly to team members and customers

Requirements

- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer standards
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- Experience working with automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Excellent customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and build trust with clients
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and maintenance routines is a plus
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is desirable
