Summary Serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Position Description: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech The Cardiovascular Interventional Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

- Scrubbing in for Procedures (Cardiac Caths and Pacemaker Implants)
- Using Hemodynamic System to Monitor Patient and Document Procedure
- On Call for Emergent Procedures

Minimum Qualifications (May Qualify 1 Of 5 Ways)





- Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
- Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR
- 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR
- RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education

Required : Active BLS & ACLS certification (accepted from American Heart Association) Facility BayCare Health System, Cardiac Cath Lab-SJH
