Care and Facilities Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Care and Facilities Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Comfortable to work around children under 6 years old
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Janitorial support as needed
- Washing dishes
- Comfortable to support light food preparation
- Ensuring the facility remains clean, secure, and well-maintained
- Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic school environment.
- Ensure facilities meet Public Health guidelines and sanitation standards.
- Assist with miscellaneous duties and errands as needed.

Qualifications:
- Responsible and dependable
- Detail-oriented
- Prior cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to thoroughness in all tasks.
- Good physical health to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
