We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker for a female employer with Cerebral Palsy in all activities of daily living.

Location:

- Vancouver (near Kitsilano)

Shifts and Hours:

- Casual-Temporary Coverage and Shifts to be assigned as needed
- 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm
- DO NOT APPLY IF NOT INTERESTED IN CASUAL

Compensation:

- $26.50 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Morning shift duties

- Activities of daily living and personal care including dressing, showering and putting contact lenses in
- Transfer assistance using sit to stand
- Breakfast/Meal preparation

Evening shift duties
- Showering, bed time routine (including taking contact lenses out), transfer into bed

General duties (timing is flexible):
- light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, taking out garbage/recycling
- accompany out for medical appointments and shopping

Required Qualifications:

- Previous caregiver experience is required
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with a dog
- Fully vaccinated
- comfortable handling and assisting with contact lenses
