Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry residential renovations, and recent construction.

Responsibilities

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Interior wood finishing
- Exterior envelope installation
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
- Perform restoration tasks on existing structures as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate project timelines and material needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and chisels.




- Strong understanding of roofing techniques and materials.
- Ability to plumb structures accurately for proper alignment.
- Experience with tile laying for flooring or wall applications.
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices for effective project planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
