Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision, ensuring correct change and transaction records
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cashier station and surrounding areas in compliance with health regulations
- Support food handling and serving duties as required, ensuring proper food safety practices are followed




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or safety

Qualifications

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong cashiering skills with familiarity using Micros POS or similar systems
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Experience with food industry sanitation practices and kitchen experience is a plus
- Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
