Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions accurately, and creating a positive shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong communication and organizational skills while working in a dynamic retail environment.

Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are considered valuable assets. The Cashier will be responsible for managing POS systems, cash handling, and upselling products to enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Conduct product demos and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is tidy
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members using phone etiquette and clear communication skills




- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth checkout processes during busy periods
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Uphold store policies and ensure a welcoming shopping environment

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and balancing registers
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated time management skills and professionalism in customer interactions
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technical sales is advantageous
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when necessary
