We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our daytime team supporting the daily operations of our cat care facility. This role is vital in ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our animals while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Welcome clients and cats during check-in and check-out
- Verify client information and process payments
- Review pet health history and care instructions
- Feed and provide medication according to established schedules and protocols
- Observe and assess cat behaviour for signs of illness or distress
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients
