Certified Dental Assistant – Orthodontic Module

Mountain Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and patient-focused Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with a completed Orthodontic Module to join our team in beautiful Squamish, BC.

About the role

You will work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to provide excellent care to our patients throughout their orthodontic journey.

Responsibilities may include

- Chairside orthodontic assisting
- Braces and wires(brackets) placement, adjustments, and removal
- Explicit aligner and digital orthodontic procedures
- Taking digital scans, photographs, and X-rays as required
- Patient education and oral hygiene instruction




- Appliance delivery and adjustments
- Lab work as needed
- Sterilization and clinical room preparation
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Helping create a positive and comfortable experience for children, teens, and adults

Who we’re looking for The ideal candidate:
- Is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in BC
- Has a completed Orthodontic Module
- Has orthodontic assisting experience, preferably in a clinical orthodontic practice
- Is confident, organized, reliable, and patient-focused
- Enjoys working with children, teenagers, and families
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes pride in providing high-quality clinical care
- Is interested in learning, developing, and growing with the practice

Newer orthodontic assistants with the right attitude and strong clinical fundamentals are also encouraged to apply.
