Our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery office in Surrey is dedicated to providing patient-focused, compassionate care by a team celebrated for its commitment to excellence.

This is a temporary position covering a medical leave for one of our full time staff that includes one Saturdays per month. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to function in a team environment.

:

- Assist during oral surgery under all levels of sedation, local and general anaesthesia
- Set up treatment rooms and sterilization
- Panoramic X-rays and CBCT scans
- Treatment coordinating complex surgical cases
- Pre and Postoperative teaching
- Interest in professional growth, development and quality improvement

Qualifications:





- Certified Dental Assistant
- Excellent patient service skills
- Pleasing personality with good communication skills
- Fluent in English; additional language an asset
- One-year experience
- Knowledge of dental software
- Is a quick learner, energetic, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
- DAANCE, OMAAP or CDAAC
- Previous surgical assisting with intravenous sedation is an asset, but we are willing to train.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$46.00 per hour
