What You'll Do As a COTA, you will play an important role in helping residents achieve greater independence and participate in the activities that are meaningful to them.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist residents in improving activities of daily living, functional skills, mobility, and independence.




- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet each resident's goals and needs.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate observations and concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

- Current California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license/certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.
- Commitment to helping residents achieve their highest practical level of function and independence.
