Christmas Light Lead Installer

$22–$25 per hour | 30–40 hours per week | Seasonal

North Pro Home & Cottage Services is looking for a dependable Lead Installer to join our team for the 2026 Christmas-light season.

You’ll lead a small crew installing professional Christmas-light displays on homes throughout Simcoe County. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who is comfortable on ladders, takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys seeing the finished result at the end of each day.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading a one- or two-person installation crew
- Installing lights on rooflines, peaks, columns, shrubs and trees
- Reviewing job plans and preparing materials
- Setting up timers, cords and electrical connections
- Testing and troubleshooting lighting displays
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Keeping company vehicles, tools and materials organized
- Ensuring every installation is safe, clean and completed to North Pro’s standards

You could be a excellent fit if you:
- Have previous ladder, roofing, construction or exterior-service experience
- Are comfortable working safely at heights
- Have experience leading others or taking ownership of a job
- Hold a valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Can lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
- Are dependable, organized and able to work outdoors in colder weather




- Care about producing quality work and treating customers’ homes respectfully

Previous Christmas-light experience is an asset, but we will provide paid training on our products and installation methods. The position will run from approximately mid-September until December 11, primarily Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturday availability may be needed because of weather or peak-season demand. Additional takedown work may also be available after Christmas.

The best part is that this may not have to be a one-season opportunity. If you work well with our team and demonstrate strong leadership, safety and workmanship, we would be interested in bringing you back for our exterior cleaning season beginning in spring 2027.
