Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and securely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our transportation operations, contributing to smooth supply chain management and operational excellence.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight across various Overnight routes along Hwys 1, 3 , 20, & 5.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and other essential systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working setting at all times

Experience





- Class 1 Experience of at least 5 years
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for transporting goods
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy vehicle operation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections with attention to detail
