We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class 1 Gravel Truck Driver to join our team in a seasonal position for the remainder of the busy construction season. In this role, you will operate gravel trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently across various job sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high safety standards and delivering exceptional service. We have a diverse fleet that includes conventional gravel box trucks with pup or quad wagon trailers, super b side dumps, tridem truck with side dump trailers or end dumps, and belly dumps.

Mixer driving experience is considered an asset.
Duties
- Safely operate gravel trucks to load, transport, and unload materials at designated locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records
- Assist with the operation of related heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading materials
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Familiarity with geography and strong sense of travel directions
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience operating commercial trucks, preferably within construction or similar industries
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Knowledge of forklift operation and freight handling procedures considered an asset
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
- Ability to adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean driving record
- Solid communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
