We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver specializing in refrigerated freight to join our team. In this vital role, you will operate a heavy-duty reefer truck, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of perishable goods across various routes. Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class 1 refrigerated truck (reefer) to transport freight efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including refrigeration units, to ensure optimal operation and safety
- Securely load and unload freight, utilizing forklift equipment when necessary, while adhering to safety protocols
- Monitor refrigeration systems during transit to maintain proper temperature control for perishable cargo
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with transportation regulations




- Perform routine automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- pay:0.60 per mile
- Proven experience operating refrigerated trucks (reefers) in a commercial setting
- Proficiency in forklift operation for loading and unloading freight
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for heavy equipment operation
- Basic automotive repair skills to address minor mechanical or refrigeration system issues
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining safety and professionalism at all times
