Class 5 Delivery Driver for a courier company. The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently completing pickup and delivery routes while providing professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations.
- Follow assigned daily routes and delivery schedules.
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently.
- Verify packages, addresses, and delivery information.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Use GPS and delivery applications to complete routes.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
- Valid
Class 5 Driver’s Licence
.
- Previous courier, parcel delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate in both French and English.
- Clean or acceptable driver’s abstract.
- Comfortable driving a delivery van or similar commercial vehicle.
- Able to lift and carry packages as required.
- Valuable knowledge of local roads and GPS navigation.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced delivery environment.
