The Role

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Staples Animal Hospital.

As one of the first and last people our clients interact with, our reception team plays an incredibly important role in the client and patient experience. You’ll welcome clients and their pets, answer phones and emails, schedule appointments, process payments, maintain accurate client and patient information, and help keep the day running smoothly.

Veterinary reception is much more than answering phones, you’ll help clients navigate everything from welcoming a current puppy or kitten to managing an unexpected illness or saying goodbye to a beloved pet. We’re looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service while remaining calm, compassionate, and organized in a busy veterinary environment.

About You

- Education/Experience – Previous veterinary receptionist experience is awesome, but if you’re eager to learn and passionate about animals, we’re ready to train the right person. Reception or client service experience is a plus.
- Skills – Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Attitude – Positive, reliable, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
- Tools – Comfortable with computers; experience with veterinary software (like eVetPractice) is a bonus.
