Chase River Veterinary Hospital is a well-respected, long time companion animal veterinary clinic at the south end of Nanaimo. Our team cares! Who are you?

You are a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Care Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support. You possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, with a background in veterinary clinics being a significant advantage.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with inquiries, book appointments, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with our products and services. Loving animals and people who love animals is important too! We are willing to train the right candidate as well.

Duties

- Greet Clients and patients as they enter the clinic.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person and via phone and email in a timely, empathetic and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies.




- Troubleshoot client/patient issues effectively and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Document client/patient interactions in the system to ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues or escalate when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a veterinary/clinical environment preferred although other customer service environments will be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to client/patient support functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- A commitment to providing outstanding service and fostering positive relationships with clients and patients.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
