We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to fill this current position and join our shop team. This role involves operating CNC routing tables to fabricate aluminum composite panels for architectural and construction applications. The ideal candidate has experience with nested sheet layouts, routing, and working with aluminum materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

- Operate CNC routing tables to cut and machine aluminum composite panels
- Read and interpret shop drawings, production packages, and cut files
- Set up materials, tooling, and machine parameters for efficient production
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
- Optimize material usage and minimize waste during production
- Work closely with design and production teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment

Requirements




- Experience operating CNC routers
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and handle sheet materials (up to ~50 lbs)
- Experience with panel fabrication, cladding systems, or construction materials is an asset

Preferred Skills
- Experience with nesting software and material optimization
- Knowledge of aluminum composite panel fabrication processes (routing, grooving, folding prep)
- Forklift experience
- Experience with press brakes or other sheet metal equipment

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
