Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment with precision and safety in mind
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, including panels, frames, and mechanical parts
- Conduct mechanical inspections to identify additional issues requiring attention during repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the repair process
- Follow manufacturer specifications and industry best practices to ensure high-quality results
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair progress and completion status
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience with automotive repair processes from collision assessment to final detailing
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy parts safely
- Mechanic experience or relevant technical training is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork skills
