Job Title: Commercial Operations Manager
Company: Auxe
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Auxe is a fast-growing, tech-enabled field operations and commercial installation partner. We deploy, commission, and manage enterprise-grade AV, digital signage, and smart infrastructure networks across North America. We operate at the intersection of high accountability, rapid execution, and seamless client experience.
We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to lead our commercial deployment engine, scale our team, and ensure zero-defect field execution across enterprise accounts.
The Role
As Commercial Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end operational lifecycle for our commercial projects. You will manage internal Project Coordinators and Technical Support teams while overseeing our North American field contractor network. Your mission is straightforward: ensure every project is deployed on schedule, within budget, and executed strictly to Scope of Work (SOW) compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership & Execution
- Lead, mentor, and scale our internal Project Coordination (PC) and Technical Support (TS) teams.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, from intake document verification to final site release and accounting handoff.
- Drive operational accountability and ensure team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and project SLAs.
2. Field Logistics & Subcontractor Management
- Manage and expand our continent-wide network of subcontracted field technicians and installation partners (via direct networks and other platforms).
- Oversee technician onboarding, rate negotiations, helper hour constraints, and contractor performance tracking.
- Enforce strict pre-deployment protocols (lock-in policies, freight delivery logistics, and Bill of Lading (BOL) damage tracking).
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Enforce rigorous Quality Assurance protocols,
ensuring 100% compliance with client SOWs, photo-documentation guidelines, and site-release checklists.
- Coordinate live remote commissioning with client Network Operations Centers (NOCs) and field support staff.
- Audit real-time field reporting before approving technician site releases.
4. Process Optimization & Financial Controls
- Track and manage project profitability, monitoring labor hours, delay logging, contractor rates, and expense reimbursements.
- Continuously refine operational workflows, tools, and automation across our platforms.
- Analyze operational KPIs (completion rates, first-time fix rates, delay root causes) to drive margin expansion and service quality.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Field Service Management, or Project Operations within Commercial AV, Low-Voltage, IT Infrastructure, or Telecommunications.
- Proven leadership experience managing internal coordination teams and remote field contractor networks.
- Relentless attention to detail with a process-first mindset - you believe great execution comes from tight checklists, clear accountability, OKRs, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong tech literacy across operational tools (Slack, Notion, FSM software, databases, Excel, etc.).
- High-grade communication skills capable of balancing tough subcontractor accountability with exceptional client relationship management.
Why Join Auxe?
- High-Impact Role: Direct ownership over the core engine driving our commercial revenue and scale.
- Growth Culture: Fast-paced, high-accountability environment where performance and initiative are rewarded.
- Competitive Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience + performance bonus + additional.
How to Apply
- If you are an operational leader who thrives on logistics, structure, and flawless execution, please apply directly on LinkedIn. You can also send your resume and a brief intro explaining why you're a good fit to me in a DM.
