Company Overview
Reggin Technical Services Ltd. is a well-established mechanical contractor based in Calgary, serving Calgary and the surrounding area since 1931. For more than 95 years, Reggin has provided high-quality plumbing, heating, HVAC and electrical solutions to commercial, institutional and high-rise residential clients.
Our work ranges from ongoing commercial service and preventative maintenance to complete mechanical projects, renovations, equipment replacements and system upgrades. This combination of project and service work allows our team to understand mechanical systems throughout their entire lifecycle — from installation and commissioning through maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and eventual replacement.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our Commercial Projects team.
This is not strictly a construction plumbing position, work will vary based on demands and seasonal impact.
We are looking for a well-rounded commercial Journeyman who has the experience to successfully execute mechanical projects, lead project crews ranging from approximately 2–8 personnel, and bring a strong understanding of hydronic heating systems, boiler plants and commercial service/troubleshooting.
Reggin's commercial project work ranges from approximately $500 to $2 million+ and includes boiler plant installations and replacements, hydronic distribution systems, domestic water systems, sanitary and storm drainage, mechanical room upgrades, renovations and complete mechanical installations.
This is a hands-on leadership position. The successful candidate will be expected to work on the tools while providing field leadership, coordinating day-to-day project activities, directing Journeymen and apprentices, and helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to Reggin's standards.
The ideal candidate is more than an installer. We are looking for someone who understands how mechanical systems are designed to operate, can identify and solve problems in the field, and takes pride in delivering a properly functioning finished product.
The successful candidate should be equally comfortable reading a set of mechanical drawings, laying out and installing a piping system, leading a crew, working within an operating mechanical room, and troubleshooting a system that isn't performing as intended.
We are looking for someone who can build the system, lead the team, understand the system and troubleshoot the system.

What Joining Reggin Means Joining Reggin Technical Services means becoming part of a company that has been building, servicing and maintaining mechanical systems in Calgary since 1931.
For this role, we're looking for more than someone who can install what's shown on a drawing. We're looking for an experienced commercial tradesperson who can take ownership in the field — lead a crew, plan the work, solve problems, build the system properly and understand how it is supposed to operate.
You'll have the prospect to lead a wide variety of commercial mechanical projects, from smaller equipment replacements and renovations to complex projects approaching $2 million+, while working with boiler plants, hydronic systems, plumbing distribution and drainage systems.
Because Reggin operates across both Commercial Projects and Commercial Service, our work doesn't necessarily end when the installation is complete. We service, maintain, troubleshoot and ultimately replace the systems we work on. That creates an environment where strong technical knowledge and quality workmanship matter.
If you bring strong commercial project experience together with crew leadership, boiler, hydronic and service knowledge, we want to hear from you.
Bring your experience to Reggin Technical Services and help us continue building on more than 95 years of mechanical expertise in Calgary.
