The Tarcott Group is looking for an experienced Commercial Renovation Carpenter to join our growing team. We’re looking for a skilled, reliable carpenter who takes pride in their work and enjoys being involved in a variety of commercial renovation and construction projects.

This is a hands-on, on-the-tools position working throughout Metro Vancouver. You’ll be part of a team completing renovations, repairs, tenant improvements, and building upgrades for commercial properties.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be involved in a variety of renovation and carpentry projects, including:

- Commercial renovations and tenant improvements
- Interior and exterior carpentry
- Framing and partition walls
- Doors, frames and hardware
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Taping and finishing
- Baseboard, trim and finish carpentry
- Flooring and other finishing work
- Demolition and renovation preparation
- Siding and exterior repairs
- Deck and wood repairs
- General building repairs and maintenance
- Working from drawings, plans and work orders
- Measuring, cutting and installing materials accurately
- Working with a variety of hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work site

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has 3+ years of carpentry experience
- Has previous commercial renovation or construction experience
- Is confident with both rough and finish carpentry
- Can read and interpret drawings and plans
- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a crew




- Can troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Works efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Is comfortable working at different sites throughout the Lower Mainland
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Experience

- Carpentry: 3 years (required)
- Commercial Renovation: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification
- Valid driver's licence required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
