Our client is seeking a dynamic, seasoned Manager – Change Management & Communications to serve as a core strategic thought partner and execution centerpiece for a multi-year, multi-jurisdictional ERP transformation.

Rooted heavily in corporate communications and strategic engagement, this role goes beyond standard change management. You will work alongside program leadership to shape, refine, and execute a multi-region communication framework that reaches audiences ranging from executive boardrooms to frontline field operations.

- Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning & Thought Partnership: Lead the creation of the program’s communication and engagement strategy. Build and maintain a 90-day rolling communications plan, ensuring alignment across executive, functional, and regional levels.
- Content Creation & Executive Messaging: Draft, refine, and distribute high-impact materials including program updates, board presentations, senior leadership messaging, and program-wide reports.
- Field & Corporate Engagement: Tailor communication strategies for diverse audiences, adapting approaches for corporate office staff versus field-based technicians and operations teams. Plan and execute large-scale engagement events, such as multi-region roadshows.
- Functional Alignment & Best Practices: Partner directly with Change Specialists to establish communication consistency, tone, and branding across all workstreams and functional areas.
- Bilingual Translation & Adaptation: Translate, adapt, and localize communications and training materials between English and Spanish to support a multi-jurisdictional rollout.
- Evolution of Ownership:



Serve initially as a co-author and co-presenter with the Change Management Lead, transitioning over time into an independent lead for program communications.

Requirements

- Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or strategic engagement within multinational organizations. Prior experience supporting complex, multi-year ERP or enterprise transformation programs will be essential for this contract. Experience with an SAP implementation is highly preferred.
- Industry Background: Breadth of industry experience with a robust appreciation for corporate vs. field dynamics. Experience in the energy or midstream sector is considered a significant asset.
- Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is highly preferred to support international jurisdictions and reduce translation reliance. Strong working proficiency at a minimum.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Core Skills: Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite, exceptional strategic writing skills, and proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes across different regions and operational levels.
