BlendRx is a rapidly growing central-fill compounding pharmacy, where we prepare non-sterile and sterile compounded medications for pharmacies across Ontario.

We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a part-time Pharmacy Assistant with the potential to become full-time, primarily working with non-sterile compounds.

This role requires a focused and attentive individual with a strong desire to learn and grow with us since this role is essential to ensuring accurate preparation, documentation, and workflow efficiency.

The responsibilities required for this role include, but are not limited to:

- Assist in the preparation of NAPRA quality non-sterile compounded medications under supervision
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of compounding equipment, staging tables, and rooms as directed
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly batch records, logs, and documentation
- Label and package compounded preparations appropriately
- Manage inventory of chemicals, excipients, and supplies
- Support pharmacists and technicians with workflow and production demand
- General office administration including data entry and scanning of worksheets
- Abiding by all company policies

Recommended Qualifications & Skills

- High school diploma required; pharmacy assistant/technician education preferred




- Previous experience in non-sterile compounding or pharmacy environment is an asset
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow exact instructions
- Strong willingness to learn
- Impeccable communication skills
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Ability to work independently alone and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic math skills (ratios, percentages, weights, and measures)
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance
- Comfortable with receiving feedback

Physical Requirements

- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precise measurements, mixing, and assessment of compounded medications
- Ability to frequently transition between crouching, sitting, and standing in the process of compounding
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 20kg
