Our clients are looking for various CNC operator in the metal and wood sectors.

The pay is $35 - $55/hour with potential OT.

The CNC and Wire EDM Programmer and Operator plays a vital role in the manufacturing process by programming and operating CNC and Wire EDM machines with precision. This role requires expertise in Mastercam software and hands-on experience with specific equipment including the DAHLIH MCV-1200BA CNC machine and Sodic EDM machines. The operator is responsible for producing high-quality components by interpreting technical drawings and ensuring proper machine setup, operation, and maintenance, while reporting directly to the production manager as a single operator.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute CNC programs using Mastercam
- Operate Wire EDM and small hole drilling EDM equipment efficiently
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and accuracy
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products




- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and preventive maintenance

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC programming and operation
- Proficient with Mastercam software
- Experienced with CNC machine operation and Wire EDM programming
- Knowledge of small hole drilling EDM techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled in equipment setup and calibration
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills
