Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are followed diligently. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.

Duties

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Utilize CCTV systems to monitor activities within the facility and report any suspicious behavior.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances, ensuring appropriate action is taken in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.




- Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties which may include standing for extended periods or walking long distances.
- A valid security license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
