KBF Contracting is hiring a full-time construction labourer for interior finishing work on commercial, institutional, and residential fit-up projects. Work is based out of our Waterloo shop, with project sites across Waterloo Region, Guelph, and London. Steady work, straight pay, no games.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Loading, stocking, and hanging gypsum board on walls, ceilings, and bulkheads

Assisting with steel stud framing and track layout

Ceiling work, including drywall ceilings and T-bar / ACT grid and tile

Taping and sanding support, patching, and surface prep

Painting: cutting, rolling, spraying, masking, and prep

Flooring installation: underlay, vinyl plank, tile, base, and trim

Material handling, site cleanup, and daily housekeeping

Working from ladders, baker scaffolds, and lifts

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous construction site experience is required

Hands-on exposure to at least one of drywall, ceilings, painting, or flooring. We will train you on the rest

Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stay productive on your feet all day

Own basic hand tools and CSA-approved safety boots





Reliable transportation and a solid attendance record

Reads a tape measure accurately and can follow layout direction

Communicates clearly with the crew and takes direction well

ASSETS (NOT REQUIRED, BUT GET YOU A HIGHER RATE)

Valid Working at Heights certification (CPO-approved)

WHMIS 2015 certification

Scissor lift or boom lift certification

Experience with ACT / T-bar grid systems

Airless spray experience

Own vehicle and willingness to travel across the London-KWCG corridor

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
