Join our agile team as a Counsellor and make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals through their personal, emotional, and psychological challenges. In this role, you will provide empathetic guidance, develop tailored intervention plans, and foster a safe space for clients to explore their concerns. Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized counselling strategies.
- Offer one-on-one counselling sessions that promote emotional healing, self-awareness, and positive behavioral change.
- Maintain detailed and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment plans in accordance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to coordinate care effectively.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions or workshops aimed at skill-building, stress management, or coping strategies.
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support and appropriate referrals for clients in urgent need.




- Stay current with best practices in counselling techniques and mental health research through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in providing counselling or psychological support in clinical or community settings.
- Strong active listening skills combined with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly with clients.
- Knowledge of mental health disorders, crisis management protocols, and ethical standards for counselling practice.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey guidance and facilitate understanding across diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Certification or licensure as required by local regulations for practicing counsellors is highly desirable.
