Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Crane Operator specializing in RT (Rough Terrain) crane operations! This job will specifically involve operation of Tadano GR-1000XL (100T) and Tadano GR-1600XL (160T) units. Working two weeks on, two weeks off 11 hours per day. Apprentice or Journeyman Crane Operator certificate required.

In this energized role, you will be at the forefront of construction and heavy lifting projects, utilizing your expertise to operate cranes safely and efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge, communication skills, and ability to work with teams will drive project success and ensure safety at every step. Duties

- Operate RT cranes with precision, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications
- Conduct rigging and load securing to ensure protected lifting operations
- Communicate effectively with team members, including signal persons and site supervisors, to coordinate movements
- Perform routine inspections of crane equipment, including boom trucks and forklifts, to maintain optimal functionality




- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and basic maintenance of crane machinery
- Support other heavy equipment operations such as boom trucks and forklifts as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, inspections, and safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations

Experience

- Proven construction experience with an apprentice or journeyman Crane Operators Certificate
- Valid certification for RT crane operation; additional certifications for forklift, boom truck, or rigging are highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane systems and load handling equipment is preferred
- Experience in rigging, load calculations, and safety procedures in construction environments
- Customer service mindset for collaborating with project managers, clients, and team members to meet project goals
