Classification: Culinary Supervisor
Department: Hospitality
Reports to: Chef de Cuisine, Hospitality

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Culinary Supervisor a typical shift includes:
- Oversee day to day kitchen operation & support team with managing prep and other tasks.
- Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies
- Make daily prep list & task lists for team
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Working and training in the kitchen environment
- Responsible for food and kitchen safety with a focus on food preparation standards
- Lead a team of Premium Cooks
- Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen
- Other duties may be assigned as required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends,
and holidays with various start times based on the kitchen needs
- Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- Must have experience in a high-volume culinary kitchen
- Proven organizational skills
- Previous culinary supervisory experience is an asset
- Completion of Food Safe Certificate is an asset
- Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2023

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.00-$30.50 per hour
