Join the Mirello team as a Customer Service / Cafe Team Member and help create a welcoming experience for every customer! You’ll be part of the day-to-day operations of our tiramisù and gelato cafe, providing friendly and efficient customer service while helping keep the store clean, organized, and ready for business.

This is a part-time position, with weekend availability required. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for opening the store, preparing the cafe for the day, and ensuring everything is ready before customers arrive.

Duties

- Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Serve and portion tiramisù and gelato according to Mirello standards
- Prepare dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
- Ensure the cafe is clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift
- Complete opening duties, including preparing the cafe, equipment, displays, and service areas before opening
- Restock products, supplies, and packaging as needed
- Answer customer questions about menu items, flavours, ingredients, and available options
- Handle customer requests and concerns professionally and help create a positive experience




- Assist with closing and general cafe duties when required
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and workplace procedures
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Represent Mirello in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements
- Previous customer service, cafe, restaurant, or retail experience is an asset
- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be available to work weekends
- Comfortable working early shifts and being responsible for opening the store
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for opening duties
- Comfortable handling payments and using a POS system
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
- Food handling experience or certification is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
