Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Accurately process sales transactions using the cash register or point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and digital payments securely
- Maintain an organized checkout area, restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness for an inviting environment
- Answer customer questions about products, store policies, or promotions with clarity and enthusiasm
- Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently while adhering to store policies




- Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and product displays as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during busy periods

Skills

- Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions and record keeping
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and courteously, resolving issues promptly
