Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza and Donair Cook to join our team in a fast-paced workplace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that everything is crafted to perfection. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.

Duties

- Prepare and cook pizzas, donairs, and other menu items according to recipes and customer specifications

- Slice meats, vegetables, and prepare toppings and sauces

- Operate ovens, grills, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Monitor food quality and ensure consistent portion sizes

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas

- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

- Assist with inventory checks and restocking supplies as needed

- Take customer orders when required

- Handle deliveries and packaging for take-out or online orders





- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

- Previous experience in a pizza shop, donair restaurant, or fast-food kitchen is an asset or else willingness to learn.

- Basic cooking skills and understanding of kitchen operations required

- Ability tofollow recipes and food preparation procedures

- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (Food Safe certification is must)

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential

- Ability to work morning, evenings, late night until 4am, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Experience

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification

- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
