Position-Full time Dairy Herdsperson

We are an expanding family run dairy farm located just outside Mitchell. We are looking for someone to join our team who is self motivated, can work well with others along with being reliable. Experience is a must

Duties may be, but not limited too

Herd health checks, checking cows that have calved, diagnosing and treating sick cows, administering medication to cows and calves when needed, record keeping, AI breeding, hoof trimming, milking in 40 stall GEA rotary parlour ,Feeding calves, Scraping and bedding by hand along with tractor and skid steer, General farm maintenance , Moving and sorting of cows & calves, 40-50 hours a week available.

This is a permanent full time position. You will be required to work Monday - Friday along with being able to work every other weekend.

Job Types: Permanent, Full time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
