Title: Data Analyst

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid – (Should be prepared to come into the office at least 4 days per weeks)

Must have skills:

5+ years of experience in banking or financial services industry with understanding of business and financial reporting, data analysis, and business management

Undergraduate degree in Business Economics, Statics, Mathematics, Accounting or Finance

Solid proficiency and experience working with Advance Excel including modelling, charts, pivot tables, Advance PowerPoint, Word, Tableau.

Strong forecasting and analytical abilities with the expertise to leverage data-driven insights to develop actionable and forward-looking business strategies.





Effective storytelling skills – written and verbal skills and attention to detail in preparing reporting and summaries that is provided to product teams and senior / executive leadership.

A ‘Growth Mindset’ – remain current with emerging consumer / industry trends, embraces new data to generate impactful insights. Proactive and inquisitive mindset, continuously seeking opportunities and the “why” behind data trends to improve existing processes and streamline activities.

Nice to have skills:

Experience in Financial or Management reporting.

Experience doing variance analysis.

Familiarity with statistical techniques such as regression analysis, clustering.

Knowledge of Commercial Banking – liquidity management products and services.
