DELIVERY DRIVER

Baker Auto Supply Ltd. is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team and be an important link between our company and our valued customers.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting automotive parts and freight to our customers while providing the friendly, professional service Baker Auto Supply is known for.

Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and help keep our customers and operations moving. You will be responsible for timely and safe delivery of automotive parts and freight to designated locations while maintaining excellent customer service.

This is an opportunity to work with an experienced, knowledgeable team in a rapid-paced automotive environment where safety, efficiency, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are priorities.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate company delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver automotive parts, freight, and cargo to designated customers and locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring parts and goods are handled carefully and securely.
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including freight sorting, stocking, and inventory management.
- Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and communicate mechanical issues to management.
- Accurately manage delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery manifests, shipping records, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers,



customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address issues that may arise.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle.
- Follow proper procedures for handling automotive parts and freight.
- Assist the team with general duties as required to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driver's licence with a clean or satisfactory driving record.
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is an asset.
- Experience handling freight, automotive parts, or warehouse materials is an asset.
- Basic automotive knowledge or mechanical experience is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and handle freight in a variety of environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting, loading, unloading, standing, and walking for extended periods.
