Responsibilities
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns with a positive attitude
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and route records for accountability and tracking purposes
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and ensure the vehicle remains clean and well-maintained
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Must have your own vehicle to perform this job
- Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route driving and load & unload procedures
- Ability to lift heavy items safely during loading/unloading processes; heavy lifting experience is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while managing multiple deliveries throughout the day
