Join our dynamic team as a Delivery & Installation Assistant and become a vital part of bringing products to life for our valued customers! In this role, you will assist with the safe and efficient delivery, setup, and installation of a wide range of flooring products. Your enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills will help ensure each customer experience is smooth, positive, and memorable.

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving products using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks to ensure safe handling.
- Transporting items to customer locations or designated storage areas.
- Help with the setup and installation of products at customer sites, ensuring all components are correctly assembled and functioning.
- Communicate clearly with customers to answer questions, and provide excellent service throughout the process.
- Conduct safety checks during loading, transit, and installation to prevent accidents or damage.
- Help maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, installations, and inventory movements in company systems.
- Collaborate with staff to organize stock, prepare items for dispatch, and ensure timely deliveries.

Skills





- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification; prior warehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Knowledge of moving techniques and equipment handling to ensure secure transportation of goods.
- Clean driver's abstract required. Experience in commercial driving in an asset.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures diligently during all phases of delivery and installation.
