Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Person to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.

The Candidate MUST live in or within 30 minutes of Kincardine and MUST be available to work into evenings and all Saturdays.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items.
- Deliver products to customers’ locations promptly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock,



and preparing shipments for delivery.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each trip.

Skills

- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members professionally.
- Previous commercial driving experience is highly desirable.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for managing delivery schedules and documentation.
