Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to ensure precise imaging.
- Provide excellent patient support by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Tracker including charting and treatment documentation.
- Support the sterilization and maintenance of dental tools and equipment to uphold strict infection control standards.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and communicate effectively with patients as a friendly dental receptionist.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting with familiarity in dental terminology and clinical procedures.
- Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Tracker for record keeping and scheduling.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Ability to operate CAD systems for imaging purposes with precision and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to support patients of all ages and backgrounds effectively.
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred; and knowledge of Tracker software and intra oral scanner.
