Role Description The Dental Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Oakville, ON. This role oversees the daily operations of the dental office, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring an efficient, welcoming front desk experience.
The Dental Office
Manager coordinates staff schedules, supports clinical team needs, and maintains systems for billing, insurance, and patient records in alignment with practice policies and regulatory requirements. This position also monitors office productivity, implements process improvements,
and supports practice growth initiatives. A key focus is fostering a positive patient experience by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a professional, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Strong Dental Practice Management and Practice Management skills, with experience overseeing daily operations in a healthcare or dental setting.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming workplace and address patient needs and concerns professionally.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with patients, clinical staff, and external partners.
- Basic understanding of Dental Care workflows to coordinate smoothly with dentists, hygienists, and clinical support teams.
- Experience with appointment scheduling, billing, insurance processing, and electronic practice management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and time management.
- Prior experience as a dental office manager, dental administrator.
