Developmental Support Worker – Residential Program

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Developmental Support Workers to support individuals with developmental and behavioural needs in a residential setting. This role focuses on providing person-directed, rights-based support aligned with Ontario’s Journey to Belonging (J2B) framework, promoting dignity, independence, and meaningful community participation.

Staff will support individuals with daily living activities, implement individualized support and behaviour plans, and assist in building life skills within a structured and supportive environment. The role requires maintaining accurate documentation, supporting community engagement, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive living space at all times.

This position involves working with individuals who may present with complex needs. The ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in dynamic situations is essential. Staff are expected to demonstrate accountability,



robust communication, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development, aligned with core sector competencies.

The environment is a 24-hour residential program, requiring flexibility for various shifts and a team-oriented approach to care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
