DevOps Engineer – Release Management

Location: Toronto, ON (2–3 days hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with solid experience in release management, build automation, CI/CD, and configuration management. The role will focus on coordinating, managing, and ensuring the smooth deployment of software applications and updates across development, testing, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Release Management: Plan, schedule, and manage software releases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure all releases are properly documented, including release notes and deployment instructions.
- Create and manage RFCs (Change Requests) .
- Complete lower-region and production deployment activities.
- Build Management: Design, implement,



and maintain build processes and automation scripts.
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines .
- Configuration Management: Maintain version control and configuration management systems.
- Ensure consistency across environments by managing configuration files and settings.
- Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.
- Implement and monitor automated tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely releases.
- Act as a liaison between teams to resolve issues and improve release processes.
