Department of Finance The Department of Finance (FIN) supports the Government of Nunavut by managing public finances and ensuring funds are used appropriately. The department works on budgeting, fiscal planning, taxation and insurance, and provides financial advice that supports informed decision-making across government. By promoting responsible financial stewardship, the department contributes to the effective delivery of programs and services that support Nunavummiut.
