Director of Finance

I’m excited to be partnering with a highly successful, privately owned manufacturing company in the Brantford area in the search for a Director of Finance, North-America.

Reporting directly to the President and joining the North American leadership team, this individual will lead an established finance team and oversee the financial activities of the company’s Canadian and U.S. operations.

This is a terrific opportunity for a strong, hands-on finance leader who enjoys being close to the business—someone who can develop a team, bring clarity and accountability to the finance function, and use financial and operational information to help shape decisions and support continued growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and longer-term business planning
- Providing analysis to support decisions involving pricing, margins, manufacturing costs, productivity and capacity
- Overseeing working capital, cash management, tax, audit and internal controls
- Establishing and monitoring key financial and operational performance measures
- Leading the financial evaluation and oversight of capital investments and expansion initiatives




- Developing the finance team, including performance management, resource allocation and succession planning
- Partnering with the President and leadership team on operational priorities, strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
- Maintaining strong alignment with the company’s international Group Finance organization The ideal candidate will be a CPA with senior finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of plant operations, costing, inventory, margins and operational KPIs. Experience supporting multi-site or cross-border operations would be highly valuable.
